The AirEther™ CB54, CB54E, CB5418 are low cost outdoor residential Customer Premise Equipments (CPE), and the products are manufactured with an IP67 certified weatherproof enclosure for Near Line of Sight conditions. The radio performance of the AirEther CB54, CB54E, and CB5418 are designed and optimized for long range and high throughput wireless communications based on the IEEE 802.11 b/g standards.

The AirEther CB54 is the most robust and affordable 54 Mbps wireless client bridge, and is the ideal solution for linking building-to-building networks. The AirEther CB54 is IP67 certified, dust-proof and is protected from the effects of immersion between 15cm and 1m, providing an outdoor wireless client bridge from your building premise to the AirEther CB54 wireless bridge/router. With the AirEther CB54, Internet Service Providers can cost-effectively deploy last mile access networks for business and residential customers in medium-sized communities.
Flexible to Expand Wide Area Wireless Networks
The AirEther CB54 offers flexibility to function as a wireless client bridge connecting LANs to remote buildings or as a last mile broadband wireless client.
Secure and Reliable Outdoor Network Extension
The AirEther CB54 provides secure and reliable connectivity with IEEE 802.1x authentication and 64/128-bit WEP encryption between wireless clients, e.g. laptops, PDAs, and LANs. The system can be easily integrated into existing networks and network management systems. IEEE 802.1b SSID is hidden for site survey presentation. The firewall features include a MAC address filter, DoS, and IP based access control.
